Missions Committee
The goal of missions is to accept our responsibility as Christians by serving others, spreading the news of Jesus Christ and bringing people to Christ. Ultimately we strive to share the gospel with everyone, everywhere. To accomplish this we work with many organizations within our community, country and world, to educate, involve and create interest in missions by being the active body of Christ.
We continue to work with local food pantries, the Seniors United for Nutrition (S.U.N ,program), Samaritan’s Purse (Shoebox Kits), Soar Kenya, Open Hands for Romania, Family Advocates, Teresa Shelter, and others. We also help families financially when met with unexpected hardships. The
Missions committee is also active in recognition and fellowship opportunities in the church (Mother’s day, Father’s day, Staff Appreciation Luncheon for School).
Our inspiration comes from Matthew 25:40; “The King will reply, “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.”
